A Carol Concert was held in December at the Ashton under Lyne meeting house of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints with local dignitaries in attendance. Over 520 toys and gifts were donated to local charities: ‘Threshold’, ‘Rochdale Childer’, the Oldham Foodbank, and Chadderton and Failsworth Rotary Clubs.

Guests included the Mayor and Consort of Tameside and the Lady Mayor and Mayoress of Mossley who enjoyed listening to the local member choir singing festive carols.
