BYU Singers touring England and Wales From April

The Brigham Young University Singers is an exciting choir with impressive voices and a wide range of styles. The group performs pieces from nearly every musical genre as well as many original works written or arranged for the choir.

The singers will tour several English cities in Spring, starting in Milton Keynes and finishing in London.

The concert dates are as follows:

Milton Keynes April 24 - The Church of Christ the Cornerstone

Cambridge April 25 - Emmanuel United Reform Church

Norwich April 26 - St Andrew's Hall

Cheltenham April 27 - Gloucester Cathedral

Bristol April 28 - Bristol Cathedral

Cardiff  April 30 - May 1 at Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama

Exeter May 2 - Exeter University Great Hall

Oxford May 3, 7 - Oxford University Sheldonian Theatre

Crawley May 4 - Crawley Stake Centre

Bournemouth May 5, 6 - St Peter's School, De la Salle Performing Arts

St. Albans May 8 - St Mary's Church, Hitchin

London May 9 - St James' Catholic Church

London May 10 - Guildford Cathedral

London May 11 - St Paul's Cathedral

London May 12 - St John's Smith Square

Although the BYU Singers repertoire is called "An American choral tapestry" it will include some well known British pieces for all the public to enjoy.

The concerts, organised and supported by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints through local committees and Public Affairs Councils, will give members an excellent opportunity to introduce their friends to the Church.

Members are invited to contact their Bishops and local representatives to enquire about venues and tickets. Invitations may be done by using the "I am a Mormon" cards which every Ward should have in ample supply, or with any other appropriate means, including digital, emails, Facebook and so on.
