Chorley MP Endorses Upcoming British Pageant

Lindsay Hoyle, recently re-elected as the MP for Chorley, shares his enthusiasm for the upcoming British Pageant to be held in Chorley, Lancashire.  He feels it a privilege to have built a relationship with The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints since first becoming the MP in 1997.  He reflects on his attendance at the Pageant when it was first performed in 2013 and the professional depiction of the early Mormon faith.  He says, “It was a performance second to none.”

After the British Pageant was held Chorley in 2013, it went on to be performed in Nauvoo, Illinois, USA.  Mr. Hoyle is pleased that the Pageant is returning to Chorley this August and invites everyone to attend.  “This is something we can only benefit from by watching and seeing,” says Mr. Hoyle.  “I was lucky in 2013.  I want everyone to come see this great performance.”

The British Pageant will be held on the grounds of the Preston Temple in a temporary marquee built for this occasion.  Thirteen performances will take place over ten days.  Dates of the Pageant are 1-5 and 8-12 August.  Tickets are free of charge.  For more information and to order tickets, please visit http://www.ldsbritishpageant.co.uk.
