The earthquake that struck Ischia off the coast of Italy earlier this week has forced thousands to abandon their homes. The Italian Red Cross, with which The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints collaborates, has moved a mobile kitchen the Church donated to assist the island, according to President of CRI - Rome, Dr. Debora Diodati. The field kitchen can be used to prepare 900 meals a day. The mobile kitchen, originally donated in 2016 to assist refugees, has also been used to provide meals to displaced students after the Amatrice earthquake in central Italy.
