The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Europe will launch an Easter campaign and two-minute video, “Easter is Christ,” Friday, April 12, 2019. The video illustrates Christ’s example of faith, hope, charity and love and invites others to follow His example.
“It is the Saviour who broke the bands of death,” said President Russell M. Nelson, President of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. “It is the Saviour who paid the price for our sins and transgressions and blots them out on condition of our repentance. It is the Saviour who delivers us from physical and spiritual death.”
Easter is a celebration of Christ’s resurrection and the promise of eternal life through Him. The campaign encourages believers in Christ to reach out and connect with people through discussing the blessings of Christ’s atonement.
“Share the video on social media and in group or private messages, accompanied with a personal testimony of what Easter means to you,” said Judith Genster, Europe Area Digital Media Producer.
The “Easter is Christ” campaign will run for a 10-day period and be available on social media and www.lds.org.uk in 22 different languages.
