Ross Martin has been appointed as the new bishop of the Nuneaton area for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, replacing Bishop Matthew Grant who had served for five years.

Bishop Martin, aged 31 lives in Bedworth and is a teacher. He is married and has three children. Bishop Martin, who does not receive any pay for his new appointment, will be responsible for the spiritual and temporal welfare of the members of the Church in the Nuneaton area.
Commenting on his new appointment, Bishop Martin said: "I know the congregation very well and admire the love, kindness and patience that they show towards one another. We are fortunate to have the scriptures that tell us of the life of Jesus Christ and we can try to become more like Him, every day of our lives" Bishop Martin will be assisted in his duties by his counsellors, Jonathan Pywell and Chris Liassides.
Outgoing bishop, Matthew Grant said, “Serving as Bishop has been a real privilege and I am glad that I was able to help people strengthen their faith in Jesus Christ – I have every confidence that Bishop Martin will be able to continue helping people draw closer to Christ.”
Almost 170 people attended the meeting where the leadership changes were made.
