President Jeffrey R. Holland, Acting President of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles, has prepared a timely message for the youth of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. His message will be featured in the October 2025 worldwide youth broadcast titled “Look unto Christ,” on October 26, 2025, which will include messages from Young Women General President Emily Belle Freeman and Young Men General President Timothy L. Farnes.
The messages in the broadcast encourage young women and young men to reflect on their experiences throughout the year with the the 2025 youth theme, “Look unto Christ,” and to find strength in Christ.
Like the challenges faced by the early Saints in Kirtland, Ohio, including making important decisions and facing opposition, today’s youth “face life-shaping, future-shaping activities and decisions,” Elder Holland said in his message. “Look unto God. Don’t let doubts obscure your way. Fear not. That’s how the Saints in Kirtland lived, and they saved the Church and their posterity in the process.”
Local leaders are invited to plan a gathering where young women and young men can view this broadcast together and then reflect and share how they have come closer to the Savior through the year and consider, “When have you looked to Christ in times of fear or doubt?”
