The First Presidency
The First Presidency is the highest governing body of the Church. Its members are special witnesses of the name of Jesus Christ, called to teach and testify of Him throughout the world.

The Quorum of the Twelve Apostles is the second-highest presiding body in the government of the Church. Its members travel the world as special witnesses of the name of Christ and serve under the direction of the First Presidency.

Europe North Area Presidency
The administration of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints within the Europe North Area is overseen by an area president and two counsellors, who are usually members of the Quorum of the Seventy and live in their assigned areas. These leaders serve in their positions under the direction of the First Presidency.
