On Wednesday, 23 May 2012, members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints held a special joint activity with members of the Seventh-day Adventist Church to celebrate World Health Day. The evening was filled with presentations from each group about their respective health codes, of which there were many similarities. This was also an opportunity to get to know one another better, and of course enjoy lots of healthy refreshments.

One of the presenters at the event, Julie Bramwell, said of her experience, " My sister is a Seventh-day Adventist and I knew they had their own health code. I felt this common ground should be explored. I found the evening as beneficial for the sisters regarding health and nutrition, as I did having the opportunity to mix with our sisters of the Seventh-day Adventist Church."
