New Counsellor for the Edinburgh Stake Presidency

Matthew James Sneddon of the Dalkeith Ward (congregation) has been called as the  Second Counsellor in the Edinburgh Stake Presidency. 

President Sneddon, a self-employed facilities maintenance workman, is excited to serve and ready to work hard to build the Church and the individual testimonies of the members in the Edinburgh area.  “I love the Lord and know that everything good in my life comes from Him. I know that He lives and loves each of His children perfectly and individually. I know that through serving others and doing His will I can come to know Him better.”


President Sneddon is married to Carole Waters and they are the proud parents of four children:  James, Rebekah, Lydia and Eve. President Sneddon and his wife have both served full time missions, Matthew  served in the German Dusseldorf Mission and Carole served in the Greece Athens Mission. Over the years President Sneddon has had the privilege to serve the Lord in various capacities in both local and regional leadership.
